wounds are healed

1 Peter 2:23-24

New International Version

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

When was the last time someone hurt your feelings and you could not say a word? You and I know it happens sometimes more than we want. Jesus who was so righteous didn’t have anything to say except don’t hold it to their charge. I am sorry but sometimes I want Jesus to get them when they hurt me. But then I turn and feel sorry for them. Because I can hurt someone myself. Not meaning too. Because of Jesus' righteousness I will one day stand before Him justified, healed from all the hurts and wounds that I have carried. I pray today that God will touch each and everyone of us in the way we each need it .
