watching for god

Micah 7:7-10

New International Version

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

Israel Will Rise Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the Lord’s wrath, until he pleads my case and upholds my cause. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.

Then my enemy will see it and will be covered with shame, she who said to me, “Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will see her downfall; even now she will be trampled underfoot like mire in the streets.

How many times have you thought God wasn’t there? Probably too many. This is talking about watching for God because you expect Him to help you. Maybe sometimes we are waiting but are we expecting? Your enemies don’t know who your God is and how He will watch over you. My mom always said if you give a person enough rope they will hang themselves. I want to give the devil all the rope I can. I know I make mistakes but it’s not my mistakes. God is looking at His forgiveness that covers me and He will take care of my enemies. They may ask where is your God but we know where He is. Right here with me.
