Exodus 13:4-5
Amplified Bible
On this day in the month Abib, you are about to go onward. And it shall be when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land [of abundance] flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep and observe this rite (service) in this month.
When was the last time you wanted to be out of a situation? Well these people thought they wanted out they just didn’t know what dessert they were going to have to go through. God has the right timing for your problem we just have to let Him bring us out and not ourselves. Maybe you are in your month of Abib, which is the start of the harvest. God has so much good for us we just have to wait for His timing. My problem is I don’t want to wait on anything very good. If I can just be patient and wait, God has all the good things for me. My land of milk and cookies. Yes we all love cookies but life is full of ups and downs and we need to know that the cookies might not be what I need today. We need the meat of the word.
