Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you down and cut off your head. And I will give the dead bodies of the host of the Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
What are three things you have to go against the enemy? They are God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. You see David knew how to fight his enemy, not with words but with God. Satan will always try and get you to fight with words. Start giving him back the words of God not your words. See your giant that is in front of you that might be taunting you will fall with the words of God not your words. I have always heard it said it takes a giant killer to make a giant killer. I would say it takes a Godly man or woman to stand and take a taunting person in your life. Just remember they are there to make you a better person not necessarily themselves. David only took 5 stones, maybe it will only take five times to pray or to give them the word of God five times. But whatever you are going through you have to remember that you can only go out in the name of the Lord not your own.
