If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
How has somebody treated you lately? We know we are trying to treat others the way we want to be treated, but it don’t always work out. The word here is telling us if we are bad and know how to do good how much do we think God, who is good, is going to do for us. It also talks about how we should treat each other. We need to remember how we treat others is how we are going to get treated. So beware of your words and actions so you can receive back good and not bad.
