Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels. The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, skillful in teaching, patient when wronged.

I was taught to always ask what's it there for? It is here to tell us to keep clean from the things in this world. A vessel worthy of honor for God. We are to grow up and leave the things that we would do when we were young behind us and go forward to the things deeper in God that He has for us. We need to make sure we are running after faith, love and peace. Faith our faith is in God, love learn to love even the unlovable and peace even when it seems impossible. Always remember to put away stupid speculation in your mind they will only lead you down a path you really don't want to go. Don't forget it says to be patient even when we have been treated wrong. I pray one day I will get this right. Be encouraged we will win in the end.
