Mark 2:3-5

3 And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.
4 And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay.
5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
What is in our lives that is keeping us from Jesus? We might not have a crowd in our way but sometimes we have our on agenda. And that can keep you from going in to Jesus. It might be our own thoughts or questions that hold us back from getting closer to Him. Today, take a look at yourself and ask am I hungry for more of Jesus or more of the world? Then what are you going to do to get to Jesus? These men were willing to do whatever it took to get to Him. Because they wanted a healing. Maybe you need something else today. Maybe it’s a job, family, or just more of Him. All you have to do is get on your knees and ask. Get into the Word of God and you will get hungry for more of Jesus. Just remember He stands at the door of your heart waiting for you to open it so He can come into you. He wants fellowship with you and it will always be your choice. What are you willing to remove to get to Him. They took the roof off maybe we need to take off some roofs that are holding us back from Jesus today.
