1 Corinthians 13:1-3
New International Version
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
My question today is if you can do anything for someone else do you go out of your way to do it? Do you say well, I had a good thought but you never follow through with it! I wonder what God was saying when He said if? Look at all the if’s in this chapter. It is only when we use the if’s that we might get somewhere. If I have all the good stuff and don’t love the person next to me what good am I. I have always loved people that can boast about what they have but, deep down inside they really don’t have the goods. Let’s see today what goods are really inside of us for someone today. Remember that person in the car next to you might just need you to smile. We never know what the person at the counter is going through. Hope you guys have the best day ever God bless.
