Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.
You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. I urge you, brothers and sisters, to submit to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it. I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you. For they refreshed my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.
When was the last time you were so devoted to something that it became an addiction? Well I am an addict for Jesus. We have to be on our guard and we have to stand firm. Remember who it is that wants to take you out. Remember our service is for the Lord not for man and we must do it in love. God wants us to be kind hearted and loving and sometimes even to the ones that are hard to love. There are some days I am really hard to love just ask Pastor. If we all look at ourselves we will see that we all have our times that we are not lovable. So be patient with people around you they might just be having a bad day.
