And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

When was the last time you could keep silent in a heated argument? Well if you want to grow in God we have to learn when to speak and when to keep silent. God doesn’t want anyone to run over us but He does want us to understand when we are to speak or be quiet. It will always be a gentle and quiet spirit that will have Gods heart. And There is no where that God tells us to run. In verse 12 they spoke what would happen to them in the desert. Let us be careful not to speak our death but our life. God said stand still, that’s a hard thing to do when you are boxed in. But if we let go and let God we will see His salvation in it.
