Mark 5:31-34
New International Version
31 “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
32 But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.
33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
34 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
When was the last time you felt like a nobody? This lady was a rejected hurting person. She had used up everything she had. And still couldn’t get better. Do we always have to get to the end of ourselves before we press in so hard and touch Jesus? But even though everyone was touching Jesus she was the only one who really touched Him. And when you press in you will be a somebody whom He touches. He called her His daughter. I want Jesus to call me His daughter. But that will happen when we press into Him. Then He will touch the hidden things in us that only He can do. God bless you today.
