Hebrews 13:5-6
Amplified Bible
5 Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax. My hold on you [assuredly not]!” The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”
Are we ever content? I don’t think so because we are always wanting something different. When we hold on to the things of this earth that is when we get in trouble. Hold on to money and things lightly. They will never get you anywhere. God want leave us as long as we go after Him. It’s only when people and things are more important than God in our lives that we get in trouble. The Lord has you and me if we choose to let Him. God want leave us. People will leave you and they will hurt you so bad you may feel you can never get over it but God want. He is with us though it all. He doesn’t make the choices that man makes. But He is there with us through everything we go through.
He is holding you today let Jesus wrap His loving arms around you today.
