grow up

Hebrews 5:14, NIV: But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

ESV: But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.

NASB: But solid food is for the

mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to distinguish between good and evil

I gave this to you in three different ways. So you could understand that in all of them it says mature. We all have to grow up and stop some of our child like actions to be able to understand God and people. God understands if you are a new Christian but after that it’s time to grow up so we can not miss out on what God has for us. You will miss even the things in the word of God if we don’t let go of things, hurts and ourselves which stands between us and God. We do have to practice to get better at it, it don’t come natural. My boys practice to play lacrosse they work out daily to be better. That is why we read and pray everyday. To be better for God. Happy New Year
