Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
My question today are you ready to be the sacrifice that God wants? That really is hard. I just don’t know how much of me sometimes wants to lay down and die to myself. I kinda like me a little bit. God here wants a true living sacrifice, not one who makes excuses for what she or he does. We cannot be the sweet aroma for God if we don’t start laying down what we feel like other people do to us or other situations that hurt us. God wants that sweet smell going up to Him in true worship. God just wants all of me, not just the part I want to give Him. Your sacrifice dose not mean you justify what someone else does to you, it just means they don’t control your worship of God.
